Our new star in the form of Matte Liquid Foundation

It is finally here. Our SLAE Bare & Boujee Liquid Foundation in Light Tan (code 04). The beautiful tan colour with that oh-so-healthy glow makes me want to use this shade though it is two shades from my skin colour.

SLAE’s Matte Liquid Foundation is oil-free (General fact: Oil-free foundation is popular with those with oily skin). But gurls, this is not the case with SLAE’s Matte Liquid Foundation. Its oil-free formulation is surely suitable for oily skin. But it can be used for dry skin too (of course with dry skin, you would need to make sure you prep your face even more before make-up). Due to the active ingredients in SLAE’s Matte Liquid Foundation which contains a bio-based 24/7 Moisturising Complex, it can also be used by those with dry skin. How, may you ask? Answer: Using an optimised ratio of sodium lactate and sodium gluconate, both obtained from the fermentation of carbohydrates – true to our tagline to ensure Nature Inspiring Beauty in all forms.

You will also find that it can be lightweight and buildable towards full coverage depending on how much coverage you need. And the lighter shade can be used as a concealer! So gurls, make sure you have a least two shades handy!

In short, what do we have here: an oil-free matte liquid foundation which can be used by all types of skin which gives medium to full coverage. Anything else we’ve missed? Oh yes, it has SPF 20 PA++ (beauty mantra: sun protection is a must!).

Application? Most people use a beauty blender or a make-up brush to apply the foundation but I personally use my hands. I kid you not. The heat from my hands somehow works for me in that I use my palms to swipe the foundation all over my face and hey presto – I have my smooth canvas to work on the other beautiful colours of SLAE.
