THE MAKEUP FOR WORK – Part 2 (AND IT IS YOUR GO TO HALAL COSMETICS, AS WELL)

THE MAKEUP FOR WORK – Part 2 (AND IT IS YOUR GO TO HALAL COSMETICS, AS WELL)

A lot has been happening since my last update. One development is that our Halal certification from JAKIM is finally out. Whilst we have always been sure about the purity of our products, a certification from JAKIM cements it all.

Our team has been on-ground quite a bit. If you have been following the development of our website, we have recently uploaded pictures of real women at work. Our gorgeous SLAE team has been busy beautifying women from all areas of work – from those in uniformed bodies to professionals and support staff. These are all women who move the world, the hands that rocks the cradles so to speak, You & I, we are the women of the world without whom there is no continuity to mankind and I daresay civilisation.

Talking about civilisation, the concept of beauty has, to a certain extent moved with this aspect of the moving world. Whilst previously white skin was THE standard of beauty, the beauty industry has in the last 10 years evolved to appreciate tan to dark skin. I am surprised it took this long.  From the days of Cleopatra dan well before then, women have had their lives shortened due to usage of mercury and other harmful ingredients in their makeup. The queen of England in the 16th century, Queen Elizabeth 1 was said to have died due to the usage of lead on her skin to achieve that porcelain white look (watch https://youtu.be/CURLWPCxe-c which explains).

How sad that even in this day and age, harmful ingredients continue to creep into women’s makeup and skincare to achieve quick results. This is precisely where Halal Cosmetics (ie. cosmetics with certification from recognised bodies) come into the picture. Halal certification is not just about being free from products originating from pigs and dogs (to put it in simple terms). It is about cleanliness and being free from harmful ingredients as well. It is about the process of manufacturing and packaging. The ultimate aim is for the protection of the end user.

We have enough problems to think about daily, don’t you think SLAE babes? From young mothers with little kids falling ill OR older mothers (eg.me) negotiating with their teens OR executives having to complete the task ‘yesterday’ to bosses who want it done ‘yesterday’ ….. yeap, there are more important things to think about without worrying about the makeup on your face. With Halal Cosmetics you are sure what you are wearing is safe. With Makeup meant For Work, you will know that what you have on will be suitable for that all day use AND with the right application and top-up it will take you into ‘after-hours’.

How’s that for an all-in-one Halal Cosmetics and Makeup For Work.

Much love,
