Halal Powder Matte Lipstick that Blooms This Way by SLAE Cosmetics

23/05/2022Hi there, babes. Have you tried the Creamy Matte lipstick from our Bloom This Way range? In hindsight we probably could have named it Bloom That Way 😊 – simply because, the Creamy Matte is a gem on its own giving a totally different feel and texture to your lips. That little bit of moisture makes it creamy and therefore can be used even by those with dry lips without first having to apply lip balm. For a quick dash of light colour, I will usually reach out for the Pretty Lily shade. It gives that fresh no makeup look which is also perfect as a nice pale base colour for that Korean ombre look. (psst: who hasn’t tried this “innocent” Korean look, please bloomin’ try it coz it’s such a gorgeous look, brilliantly thought out).
On the other end of the spectrum of colours for our creamy matte is the Plum Peony. It gives you a beautiful va va voom plum shade on your lips, perfect for that night out. It is a shade you can’t go wrong with. Sexy with a black dress, sultry with a red dress and vamp with white.
In between I would say, all you need for a pink day out is sorted with the Creamy Matte range. There is Sweet Pea and Pink Carnation which, true to their namesake, will make you look like the sweet Princess on the Pea (did you read this fable as a child?) OR beautiful like a carnation that Bloom This Way. Indeed, we love making you look beautiful. We also have a beautiful brown shade (for those days when you want to make the brown as your new pink) and the Dahlia Delight which reminds me of Ms Dahlia, the Audrey Hepburn lookalike in the form of my sports teacher back in school (aaah….. she did not look so sweet when she made us do the duck walk along the Form 2 corridor – many many many moons ago).
As the Spanish would say, Hasta La Vista – until I see you later.
This time round I am going to “belanja” you with my own photos, using two of our creamy matte shades (sometimes one has to give the models a break).
May 2022.
